Big Bowl had previously been using the bowl and chopsticks icon in black and white for various materials, but needed a new and more powerful logo. The identity needed to be pan-Asian, as the restaurant serves food from many different Asian cuisines. We liked the idea of a bold red stamp or seal effect, and were inspired by passport stamps and vintage luggage label stickers.
